We’ve been waiting for a new mini-series to give us a LOL, and as if God had heard our stoned requests, he brought us Fish Tank. A new comedy series coming to the web that centers around two besties living in LA juggling love, life and their careers.

And it stars models of reality show Strut, Arisce Wanzer, Isis King, Laith Ashley and Finding Prince Charming‘s Robert Sepúlveda Jr.

Arisce gets all the boys, but never involved in anything serious (very Carrie B: “in a world where men are disposbale… wait, do I dispose of men?”), while Isis plays a hot-to-trot vlogger navigating the world of dating as a trans woman like Bambi on ice.

It was unsure whether the images were even real to begin with, (or just a calculated PR stunt), but it seems after months of waiting, Tumblr has finally unearthed the frontal snaps from Tom Daley’s sexting scandal last year.

Daley, who was said to be on a break from his fiancé Dustin at the time, managed to swerve the dick pic leak, despite UK tabloids running the story – with just footage of the Olympic diver rubbing his bulge. Months later a image of Daley on all fours hit the internet, before Daley admitted he was horrified.

Clearly having a sex tape out leads to running a media gauntlet.

So it might seem unsurprising that another image has emerged claiming to be from that sext session. But yet, here we are, surprised! The snap popped up on a Tumblr site which ‘claims to have had it ‘for a while’.

The Tumblr site writes: “Okay, we refuse to post fakes and always have. We have had these pictures for a while and have tried and tried to verify them, We think they are genuine, but cant guarantee it. Does seem to be authentic and uncut and about the size we expected from bulge in his shorts. So, make your own mind up boys.”

Last year, Zeke Thomas shared his story with the world about he suffered at the hands of rape and sexual assault, not once, but twice. Since then, the discussion of male rape is a topic that’s been stirred. We caught up with DJ, activist and son of Basketball God Isiah Thomas to talk love, hooking up and new music.

C&C: You came public with your story last year, how have things developed/progressed since then?

Z: After speaking it into truth and making the choice to go public my whole life has changed. I didn’t realize the impact my words would have globally, with my friends, and my family. It’s sad to think about how myself being assaulted would be seen by some friends and family, as a way to blame me, for them now having to face the fact that I was raped.

I wouldn’t change a thing however, because the work and progress that is being done – not just by myself but by others in activism, awareness, government, and just general social consciousness is amazing. Martin Luther King said “Out of Mountain of despair comes a stone of hope” And I take that saying with me every day loved ones aren’t, or weren’t, there for me. I remember there is a greater mission here than just my peace of mind.

I know that you’ve previously stated that you don’t blame the apps for the incident, but do you think Grindr and other hook-up apps can be doing more to keep their users safe? 

I’m sure for most of these apps the terms of use policies can be revisited. I have consulted with the FBI on some potential “Grindr predators” as I’ve called them and the blind eye that these apps are turning is parallel to Facebook and Twitter turning a blind eye to Russian bots posting fake news stories to elect now President Trump.

How do you respond to the analogy that we (hook-up app users) value sex over our safety? 

I believe it is in our human nature to be searching for love. And love is safety. So no, meeting someone for a hook up I do believe everyone is subconsciously hoping for that spark. There are more good people on the apps than bad. You have to remember that, and you have to protect yourself; listen to your gut not your dick [laughs].

Do you think that curbing the drug culture within the gay community will help incidents like this? 

There is a rise of drug culture in all aspects of society right now not just gay culture. It’s time to take off the blinders and be real about this. I have had my own highs and lows with substance abuse – no pun intended. I think mental health treatment is something that our community needs more of as we all have to deal with the trauma of being different or labeled as “other.” I do not believe in my heart however that drugs cause people to become victims or rapists.

How has the incident affected your love life? 

The two greatest loves I ever experienced were lost because of this issue. One, because I wasn’t able to deal with prior trauma, and the other because he had to deal with me fighting through trauma. I’ve apologized to them both and now I am currently dating. I met a beautiful Hungarian man who I’m currently seeing but always waiting to be swept off my feet.

Men received a lot of backlash for speaking up during the #MeToo movement – how do you feel about that?

I felt appalled. But thats the culture that we live in, and the stigma we must break. My own family told me my rape wasn’t as severe because I’m a man. They were wrong for that and any one who dare tries to step into the shoes of survivors and take the one thing we all cling to which is our truth, should be ashamed.

There also seems to be a grey area around which point (between sexual assault and rape) should people speak up. Should it be at a grope? Or does that belittle the experiences of people who have been through worse? 

Sexual assault and rape is murder of the mind. It is a traumatic experience that will stick with you. If a man or women is groping you and you don’t want it or can’t get away whether you are on the train, night club, school etc. That experience is now going to effect you the rest of your life, so no do not belittle your experience.

As an activist for male rape awareness, what do you aim to achieve from your role? 

To give the voiceless a voice. I am blessed by the universe to be given this platform to express the views of some and many around the issue of male rape. 1 in 6 men have been assaulted. Its a staggering statistic and one that is probably under reported.

You’ve got a single called ‘Dealing With It’, can you offer any advice on to someone that’s gone through something similar, on how to deal with it… 

People will tell you to turn to your family or turn to your friends. Both those things didn’t work out for me as I would of hoped. What did work out is turning inward. I’ve become very spiritually aware as well as seeking the help of mental health professionals. I recommend you seek a 3rd party someone brand new and work through your pain.

Shade box! The video is done by Jacob Holly. We wanted to express how you can feel to be trapped at a party under the influence. Its a circuit dance record. And one I hope people love. The response has been great. Johnny I and I have known each other for awhile so getting a chance to team up for this project has been really dope!

If you meet a person from TV in person, who's work you admire, and they don't seem excited to meet you, try and understand that they probably aren't excited to meet you. You can't expect them to be as happy in that moment as you are.

So should a celebrity be nice even when they don’t feel like being “on”?

Some have suggested that unless fans have paid money for a meet and greet, that the celebrity has no obligation to fein excitement, and that despite their chosen career, are too entitled to their privacy like all humans.

And yes, that is true. And ultimately it is their own decision to behave however they want, but it also a direct reflection of how important their fans are to them, and how humble or entitled they are. Some fans will continue to support an artist, even if they’re a bit of a cunt, calling fans “butt hurt” for even bringing this up.

Others, will lose respect for who that artist is as a person and decide against it, as many have branded it “disheartening”.

You are coming off a bit entitled. It’s a gift to be able to impact the lives of many people. Not everyone has that opportunity. It’s understandable that as a human u don’t always feel like being “on” but every encounter with a fan shouldn’t be dry. calm down u aren’t Beyoncé.

To me, I would always go out of my way to be nice to someone. You can sit back, and say that you’re “grateful”, but if you’re online gunning for fans that want photos, then clearly, you are not.

That person’s approach to you may not be convenient, but it also isn’t intentionally inconvenient; they’re just excited and love what you do; isn’t seeing them that way, part of why you do what you do in the first place?

Granted if fans approach a celebrity without respect and waving a camera in their face, then celebrities have the right to be peeved. But I’m sure most fans would rather not ruin your day – and yes, they do have the choice not to approach queens – which some would argue means they are putting their own needs before the performers, so why shouldn’t the performer do the same back? But you’re in a higher position of power than the fans – just be humble.

I bet Bob wouldn’t have the same attitude if it were Britney Spears that were fangirling him. But, I guess that’s OK, because Britney isn’t a “regular” person, and Bob knows who she is?

Not saying you’ve got to be at 100% all of the time. But at least try; it’s just rude, and is only going to leave someone disheartened.

Drag Queens don’t have to be nice to anyone – on the street or at a meet and greet. How they feel about the situation, and respond to it, is totally their own decision. But whether or not you care about upsetting those who have supported you, shows who you are as a person; famous or not.

But one queen, highlighted that Bob does a lot more than other queens:

Queer Eye is the reboot of the iconic 90s makeover show, Queer Eye For The Straight Guy, that has been recast and picked up by Netflix. It can be daunting rebooting a classic, but they’ve pulled it off! we caught up with Karamo Brown, the ‘Life coach/culture guy’, to talk masculinity, Black Lives Matter and inner beauty.

I read a lot of great reviews of the show, so well done! It even has 100% on rotten tomatoes… you know that’s basically the online version of an Oscar? 

We do know and are very honored, thank you!

Because, QEFSTG was such a big show, and obviously it’s a reboot, there will always be some kind of comparison; does that get on your nerves? 

Not at all. We respect the original cast and what they did. They were trailblazers. But we feel confident we are blazing our own trail that is different.

One of the observations is that compared to the previous show, your role is perhaps more of a life coach than ‘culture’ per se. How do you take that? 

I am happy people understood what I was trying to do. With a background in social work, my goal is to help people understand what is blocking them by engaging them in culturally relevant conversations.

One review of the show claimed: “The show that’s trying to fix masculinity.” – Do our/the world’s views on masculinity need fixing? 

Masculinity can be very toxic and I say that as a man who has to check in with himself daily. Men are taught they must be strong, which is a way of saying stop being curious about life and don’t show emotion. Its unhealthy. We just want men to know that being strong doesn’t mean blocking yourself from the world.

You speak a lot about being beautiful on the inside and out. What is it that makes a person beautiful on the inside? What qualities should men be looking for on the inside to give them the confidence that others possess from how they look on the outside? 

Compassion for themselves and others is what makes a person beautiful on the inside and confident on the outside.

In episode 3, I think it was really great that you had the discussion with Cory about BLM, and at the end he was really sad to see you go. But do you think his views/understandings would ever been altered enough to change who he would vote for? 

Corey and I are now friends and I must say, he has changed in many ways. Growth is a daily process so I’ll ask him next November how he voted as see if it changed.

And it does get quite emotional on the show; one episode in particular, where AJ came out. How did that make you feel? 

It felt great to see a man who was holding in so much finally release it. More men can use a cathartic cry like that.

One of the recurring – and beautiful – themes of the show, is that perhaps those with restrictive views on homosexuality have the opportunity – and frequently do – learn something. What have you learned? 

My belief that we are more alike that we are different was reaffirmed during this show. We all just want to be loved and supported.

Tell us something about the show that we don’t see or that other people don’t know… 

That when the camera was not on us, the guys and I used to dance and have the best time off camera together. It was like summer camp with my brothers.

Obviously, Carson Cresley went on to be a judge on Ru Paul’s… are you a fan of the show? 

Love Drag Race, love Carson… I can’t get enough of the show.

What is next for you? 

Hopefully another season of Queer Eye, maybe my own radio show and then who knows.

Kevin McHale, most well-known for his role in Glee, has probably come out as gay on Instagram. Kevin played the kid in the wheelchair (or Artie, as nobody knows him) and has left about four people shocked at his sort-of announcement.

McHale appeared to post a photo of two male hands entwined, with the emoji that represents ‘I love you’ in American sign language. N’aww. Many have taken this social media display of affection as a coming out.

Imagine he thought he was going to wake up to parade, and instead… *crickets*.

But while, 99.8% of population are left unsurprised, that hasn’t deterred from fans outpouring love for the actor on Twitter.

It still hasn’t been confirmed whether this is his mysterious lover, or just fellow actor Austin McKenzie, who also Deaf West Theater production of Spring Awakening.

Iconic cult show Buffy The Vampire slayer turned 21 last week, igniting nostalgia amongst 20 – 30 something gay men everywhere. But with the likes of Charmed and X Files undergoing the reboot treatment, is there a chance for a show we actually want to come back?

Well, apparently it’s frequently a topic of discussion for network execs. Speaking at the INTV conference in Jerusalem yesterday (March 13th), Fox Chairman and CEO Gary Newman said:

“It’s something we talk about frequently, and Joss Whedon is really one of the greatest creators we ever worked with. When Joss decides it’s time, we’ll do it. And until Joss decides it’s time, it won’t happen.”

UM, let us help you out here. It won’t happen until Sarah Michelle Gellar decided it’s time. OK, we obvs will to see what it’s like, but she got some shoes to fill.

He went on to say:

“Most times when we brought things back, it started with the creator coming into us and saying I’ve got another story I want to tell.
